Beast Mode Achieved in Less than One Year!
It was overwhelming to think about getting back in shape, but True 180 helped me and made it much easier than I thought it would be. All I had to do was show up and follow Josef's program, make some manageable changes to my diet, and the True 180 team took care of everything else. I am thrilled with the progress I have made in just 7 short months. I can finally fit into all of my old clothes, and am very close to wearing a pair of jeans from college. I have dropped inches everywhere on my body, my waist, my hips, my arms! My arms and back looked especially great when I was recently trying on wedding dresses--all those pushups, planks and rows really do pay off!
My favorite part about True 180 is how much fun it is to workout. All the trainers want the best for you and really keep you on track. Working out at a normal gym always seemed like a chore, but now I look forward to coming in to do my program and go to class.
Before True 180, I was a couch potato. I would come home from work and pretty much not do a thing. I was getting pretty unhappy with how I looked and I didn’t fit into my clothes. But, since joining, I have gotten amazing results!
I don’t think I have ever felt better in my life – definitely stronger than I have ever been. I’ve lost close to 25lbs and 4 inches off my waist. I fit in to the clothes I wore 6 or 7 years ago and feel pretty awesome about it! I now have more energy to actually go out and live life.
I enjoy the time I spend working out and then find myself more energized afterwards. I was skeptical I would actually be able to achieve results or even be able to stick to the program and not get bored by it and sort of fall off. It’s been awesome!
One year later, I am 27 pounds lighter, injury free and far more energetic than I have been in years!
Joining True 180 has changed my life in important ways. I had been struggling for years to get back into shape, and was continually frustrated and demoralized because I was always taking two steps forward followed by 10 steps backwards. Sometimes I would work out fairly consistently but eat total crap; other times I would be super into clean eating, but would not spend any time at the gym. And whenever I hit a stressful patch at work, both things would go to hell.
Participating in a challenge was what really got me focused and helped me to move forward consistently. I love to cook, so I went to work modifying my old recipes and trying new ones and the results have been incredible. No hunger, no cravings, no feelings of exhaustion in the afternoons, no stomach or intestinal discomfort. When I started last year's Spring Challenge I was size 8 pushing 10 in some cases. Now I comfortably fit into a size 4 and have lots of energy.
Consistency is what has helped me lose a total of 27 pounds over the last year. While I can sometime add a few pounds when I get off track, it's much, much easier to just revert back to what I learned in the Challenge and shed the weight.

Debbie’s Story: The Gift of Health
Little did I know that when I asked my son, Brandon, to provide me with a personal trainer for a month in lieu of Mother’s Day flowers, that I would be taking my first step on a life-changing journey. He found Josef and Natalie through vigorous research and said, "Mom, you are going to go to this place called True 180 and it is only seven miles from your house." So I did, and it is the most precious gift that I have ever received.
I look forward to rather than dread the workout days. The team is professional, caring, kind, friendly, and most importantly...know what they are talking about- so listen to them and follow their lead. It is such a comfort to work out and not worry that you will be forever injured by a fly-by-night team of trainers.

Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined I could have the body – and the energy – I have now. True180 changed, and to be honest, saved my life.
My “aha moment” was about a year ago, when a stranger approached me and asked if I was pregnant. I was absolutely mortified! At the time I was a hard working grad student, pulling in late nights studying, fueled mostly by high carb treats and caffeine. I was literally sacrificing my body for work. I had no idea how badly I had neglected my body. Eager to get back into shape, I tried magazine diets, Weight Watchers, etc. I wanted the fastest, cheapest, and easiest solution. Nothing was working and I was miserable. The worst part was my body was beginning to feel “old.” My back felt horrible after sitting in chairs for long hours, and I felt winded just walking for five minutes. Although I thought it was strange to feel this way so young, in my twenties, I accepted it as natural aging.
After hearing about True180’s two-week trial, I signed up for one last-ditch fitness effort. Thank goodness I did! Within three months of joining I lost 17 pounds. Now, I have lost more than 25 (and counting!). I have gone from a size 14/12 to a size 6/4 (and am getting smaller – the top in the photo is a size 2!). I have abs and muscle definition. More importantly, I have found strength that I never knew I had. Even though I can now do awesome things like lunges and push ups, I still get shy about my strength. I guarantee if you listen to what they recommend (especially when it comes to eating!), your success will astound you.
Jessica’s Story: Consistency Is Key
I have always struggled with my weight, despite being relatively active as an adult. I’ve cycled between 240 lbs. and 165 lbs. a few times during my life. Additionally, I have herniated the same disc in my lower back multiple times and had surgery to repair it.
When I came to True 180, I was towards the heavy end of my spectrum yet again. My back and foot problems made me afraid of most resistance training; I was worried I would re-injure myself and end up more limited than I already was. Working with the True 180 team quickly gave me confidence that my program was a safe way to regain my strength and make progress towards my fitness goals. In the 15 months I’ve been with True 180, I’ve gone from a size 16W to a size 8/10 [and on her way to a size 6!]. While I’m not at the lowest weight I’ve ever been, I’m wearing the smallest clothes I ever have as an adult. I’m currently 30lbs. lighter than I was when I graduated from high school.
It is definitely harder to be consistent some times than others – and my progress has happened in spurts, with frustrating plateaus in between. Ultimately, I feel much healthier, stronger and have greater confidence that I can manage my weight and fitness than I have previously.
There’s nothing magical about what I do at True 180. I do my program three times a week and class twice a week. I try to be careful about eating cleanly, except for my one or two cheat meals a week. I value the guidance and support of the True 180 team and the whole True 180 community who are an integral part of this ongoing process. I did not imagine I would be this successful.
